  • NFL PLAYOFFS 2026!-wild card!

Hello everyone! Today I’ll be making my predictions and analysis for Wild Card Weekend!

    SATURDAY:
    Panthers vs. Rams
Yeah, as a Niners fan I’m rooting for the Panthers, but being realistic I don’t really think that the Panthers have it in them to beat the Rams twice, but you never know?
    MY PICK: RAMS

    Bears vs. Packers
I think this going to be a tight one, I feel like if Chicago can get an early lead, nothing’s stopping them. On the other hand, the Packers, looking to get Jordan Love back look quite strong as well, I think it’s going to be close, ending with Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson orchestrating another game-winning drive.
    MY PICK: BEARS

    SUNDAY:
    Jags vs. Bills
Another great game! I don’t know why though, I think the Jags are going to get blown out. I think Josh Allen will use his MVP talent and get going right from the start, to a point where, no matter how strong Trevor Lawrence and the Jags are, it will be too late. I one hundred percent wouldn’t be shocked if this game comes down to the wire, I just feel the Bills will win it.
    MY PICK: BILLS

    Eagles vs. 49ers
Ok so, I’m a bit biased on this one. I am a Niners fan so I am a bit more likely to think that the 49ers will win this……..
    MY PICK: 49ERS

    Pats vs. Chargers
I feel like the Chargers just won’t be able to do it. I don’t really think they’ll be able to match up with the strong team led by Drake “Drake Maye” Maye. There is for sure a chance that this Pats team will crack under the playoff pressure, I just think that, at the end of the day, the Pats are getting it done.
    MY PICK: PATS

    MONDAY:
    Steelers vs. Texans
If you have watched football for a few years, you probably know the usual storyline for the Steelers. They have a winning record, make the playoffs, and then lose in the first round. I think this is probably happening again. The Texans defense is so strong and I think they are going to get to Aaron Rodgers and force at least one turnover, the Steelers could still win though, as they do get DK Metcalf back, I just don’t think it’ll happen.
    MY PICK: TEXANS

This would be the playoff picture with my picks.

  • NFL WEEK 16 2025-26 season

PAST WEEK SUMMARY: Philip Rivers is back! Never thought I would say that in 2025 nearing 2026, but here we are! Speaking of things I never expected, the Kansas City Chiefs are eliminated from the playoffs! After 7 straight seasons of going to at least the conference championship their dominance seems to be slowly fading away! Without further to do, let’s get the predictions and analysis started!

    Locks of the Week:
    Bills beat the Browns
I really don’t think much has to be said. The Bills have the reigning MVP and the Cleveland Browns are the Cleveland Browns. Maybe this game could be better next time they play, when some of the Browns players develop, I just don’t see it happening this Sunday. But do watch out for Myles Garret and the sack record(he’s only one sack away from matching it)!
    Texans beat the Raiders
For the second week in a row the Texans are on here, partially because of the easy teams they have faced(Las Vegas and Arizona), but also shows how dominant they have been(mainly the defense, but their offense is also putting up great numbers), I honestly think they are winning their division(AFC South), over the Jaguars.

    Upset of the Week:
    Steelers beat the Lions
I don’t know, I’m just not feeling it with the Lions this year, can’t really say much more other than the fact that the Lions do need this win to keep their playoff hopes alive, so this would be an almost season-ending upset

    Crucial Games if the Week:
    Seahawks vs. Rams
This match is super crucial in determining who wins the NFC West!
    Bears vs. Packers
Another key divisional matchup that will almost certainly determine who wins the division and gets home field advantage
    Broncos vs. Jags
Both teams are in the playoffs and this game will have heavy implications on two main things: who gets the #1 seed in the AFC, and who wins the AFC South

    Fun Fact:
Philip Rivers would never have played in front of a full Colts crowd until this Monday against the Niners, as when he played in the past there were COVID restrictions

  • START OF SPORTS BLOG(NFL WK 15 25-26)

I haven’t been posting in a while, during this time I have decided to completely change the topic of my posts. I decided to transform my love for sports, specifically American Football and Basketball, into a blog. Without further to do, let’s get into the upcoming NFL Week 15. Hope you enjoy!

    Upset of the Week:
Dolphins beat Steelers on Monday Night
I just don’t think steelers look that strong and the fins have won 4 straight. This is actually way less of an upset than it sounds like

    Locks of the Week:
    Niners beat Titans
Might be biased to the Niners(as I’m a superfan) but realistically the Titans don’t stand a chance.
    Texans beat Cardinals
Texans look super solid and I think are definetly making it to the playoffs

    Crucial Games of the Week:
    Pats vs. Bills
If Drake “Drake Maye” Maye can cook like he has been Pats should win and all but gurantee their AFC East Leading spot
    Bengals @ Ravens
Whoever wins this could possible win the AFC North
    Broncos vs. Packers
Both teams can secure high seeds in their respective conferences

Thanks for reading! Stay tuned for next week!

  • 8/20/25-motivation

    Daily writing prompt
    What motivates you?

This is a nice prompt. Simple, three words, and could be made very straight up, or very complex. For me the things that motivate me are just the events that follow up what I am trying to do, or simply the human reward system. This is just the satisfaction of finishing something, the urge to want to find out more, the feeling to end what you have started. I feel like this is the main reason why people do what they do.

Another case could be the psychology of the unknown, more specifically the zeigarnik effect(yes this is not something i just made up 🙂 ), this is something where people remember more of incomplete tasks than complete ones and this is a proved theory and phenomenon. Just think about it like this you do two worksheets for school, none of them are actually graded, and you only fully complete one, the other is only half-finished, in a month’s time you are more likely to remember that half complete one. If you remember this worksheet so much you are bound to think about going back and finishing it.

  • 8/13-first day of school-(the school scoop part one)

Welcome to PART ONE of the “School Scoop”(i just thought of a random name that sounded kinda cool), in this series of blogs I will mainly be writing about school, and tracking my journey through it, depending on how this goes I may continue this chain of blogs until the 12th grade, so, if you want , follow along every Wednesday, and starting from next Wednesday posts will come at 8am!

A lot of things become less of a deal every year, for example your birthday, but more significantly the first day of school. There are usually two types of people: people who never want summer to end, and people who despise school, OR people who just want to get back to school. I have never really seen anyone in the middle, just two very drastic sides. I personally, have almost always been the second option, if you have seen a previous post of mine called “boredom”, around a month ago, you would know that I tend to get very bored in summer, so in terms of the first day of school, it is very binary either a high or a low.

One thing about going back to school as a 7th grader, is that it feels just wrong. To be more precise it feels wrong to see 300 6th graders pop into middle school, looking so lost, knowing that was me just a year ago. When you are so used to being the lowest and youngest grade, the moment you step up it feels so different. 7th grade is also like the middle child affect, you don’t get the just-out-of elementary freedom as a 6th grader, but you also don’t get the feel to be off to high school next year, so I guess 7th grade is unique like that. Anyways see you in the next one, and as always, thanks for reading!

  • 8/7/25-alternate universe

    Daily writing prompt
Describe your life in an alternate universe.

It is hard to really say, is this what you would want your life to be in an alternate universe or what it would be. We are so familiarized with our universe, and our society, there is really no way to describe my life in another universe. In terms of what I want to be in this universe, it would be to go to a good college, get a job, and stuff like that(as a 7th grader I don’t really know a lot about this), but I just think this way because that’s the overall framework in the US, and most of the world. If this was all switched, and the way to live was entirely switched up, who knows what I would want. Today’s question is very puzzling because it is simply so vague. I don’t think I can describe my own life completely now because I would be very biased, in fact I think every human would, so describing in an alternate universe may be impossible. It also may just be that I’m overthinking this way too much(which I probably am), but you never know……..

btw: I am officially changing posting on Thursdays, to posting on Wednesdays because of school timing(it starts later on Wednesdays, so you can expect posts coming in on Wednesday Mornings, the next post will be on the day of the first day of school, so it will probably be about that, maybe starting school again can fix my grammar lol, anyways, thanks for reading!

  • 7/31-how to describe yourself

    Daily writing prompt
How would you describe yourself to someone who can’t see you?

Originally I would think of how to describe me visually or how to describe my personality to answer this prompt, but if you think about it, I am sure there are many people who have darker hair, or who are sporty, so just saying vague things like that won’t really describe me/you precisely. What I would think about, is more like an about the author page. It gives you some details just about what you like, how old you are, and details like that. My English teacher used to call it the 5 W’s, Who, What, When, Where, and Why. These are the 5 basic things you need to know to learn about someone. Sure giving some adjectives would help, but that’s what the Who and What are for. Who tells you, who they are. What tells you, What type of person they are, When tells you their age, Where tells you where they come from, and most importantly Why tells you their purpose, why they do what they do. In conclusion, describing someone doesn’t have to be through visual or personality context, just something to think about! 🙂

btw: i’ll most likely switch to posting every Wednesday due to school starting again .

  • 7/24/25-what we know

We know a lot, but how much do we not know? I have always wondered about this. Reading books about human evolution and inventions truly makes you marvel how far we have come, and how much we have achieved. How much of what we don’t know will we ever know? Is everything just waiting to be discovered? In recent human times, most of our inventions have just been a chain reaction of some other invention, to give you an example of what I am saying think about the invention of the smart phone. Because of the smart phone, so many companies and inventions have come to life. Like uber or doordash, they are both apps, if it weren’t for the phone, would they ever have happened. Its a trend in history that quite a few people have told me about. history simply states what happened, but never what would have happened. If the Wright Brothers never came up with the plane would we still be traveling by boat to cross vast oceans? If the Americans lost the revolutionary war would there ever be an America?! If humans didn’t evolve and dominate, would tigers rule the planet? These are all unanswered questions that we will probably never know. If we don’t know so much, so much of our world is simply just driven by belief. For example aliens(in this context any living organism outside of earth). In the vast universe it is hard to not think that there is some life out their but the truth is we are not 100% sure yet. The reason why so many are trying to invest in space exploration is because they believe that there is life out there. Overall, the main idea of this post is about how much we really know, how much we have progressed, and how much we will advance.

    thank you for reading!

  • 7/20-procrastination

I would be willing to bet that if you are reading this, you have procrastinated some point in your life. It may be with school or with daily assignments, everybody has to have had their I’ll do it later moments, where the minutes turn to hours, which go down to days. I think of myself as a pretty responsible student, I stay on top of my work, but there is always a few assignments that get by. Procrastination is a problem for almost everybody, some more than others, but there can’t be a person who has never procrastinated in their life, because everyone has desirable things, and less desirable things, stuff they want, and stuff that they just completely hate, but have to push through. There is one thing I have come to question and that is, do you work faster when you are doing something you don’t like or when you are doing something you are enjoying. At first, this may seem obvious as you would always pick things that you have a better time doing, but consider the fact that when you are doing something you don’t like, you want to get done with it faster. This post is short as I really didn’t get a strong feeling about what I should write, and I am pressed for time, but thanks for reading!

  • 7/17/25-repeatable things

Everyone has that one thing. The most basic, yet oddly fun stress reliever. Something that is so random, something that everyone else would question. Something that just passes time. For me this happens to be throwing a foam ball off walls. Yes, I know, throwing something off of something seems like the most boring thing in the world but it’s just fun for me. My dad listens to a lot of podcasts and sometimes when I listen to a bit of them, a huge theme in many is that repeatable things result in repeatable outcomes, like if something is working, why change it? For me I do this throwing thing almost any time I have nothing to do, it just fills up the boredom, or “nothingness” and is something so mindless I can think of something completely different while doing this. To illustrate to you how much I do this, let me give you the exact details. It’s summer break for me, and it can’t be everyday that you meet a friend, or have a class, meaning much of the day is doing assignments and courses, You obviously can’t do this all the time(at least if you want to keep your brain from frying), so I have adequate breaks. During these breaks I read or throw my ball around. The total time I throw around is probably around an hour a day if not more. The walls in my room literally have black marks in the shape of circles from how much I throw. It’s just so easy, so oddly satisfying, and I’m sure that you have something like this, or you just haven’t discovered it yet. So next time you are bored think about what is something basic that makes you happy. 🙂

Question: Do you have one of these “repeatable things” if so what is it? Comment your answer down below!
